N-O-T (Not on Tobacco)
Youth Cessation Program

Catalyst for Communities offers the N-O-T (Not On Tobacco) program, a free, 9-week program with 10 group sessions for teens ages 12–19 who want to cut back or quit smoking, vaping, or using any nicotine products. Led by a trained facilitator, the program was developed by the American Lung Association and helps teens build healthier habits, manage stress, and make real, lasting changes. It’s completely voluntary and supports teens no matter where they are on their journey to quitting.

What you’ll learn:

  • How to stop making excuses for not quitting

  • How tobacco use, including vaping, affects your mind and body

  • How to overcome nicotine dependence

We are a social enterprise acting as a non-profit. We intentionally chose not to apply as a nonprofit in order to retain full control over our business operations, allowing us the flexibility to innovate and respond quickly to community needs. However, we deeply value the mission-driven spirit of nonprofit work and operate with that same commitment—prioritizing impact over profit in all that we do.
